Nelson
Roth, Jr. - Pastor, Husband, Father, and Grandfather
Nelson Roth is no stranger to ministry. For over thirty-five
years he has been encouraging others to reach their full potential
as a devoted follower of Christ. Being relevant
in ministry defines his ministry style. Nelson has been the
pastor at Gulfhaven since May of 2004.
Nelson is a student of the Bible and a gifted
speaker and teacher with a message of hope and restoratiown. Nelson has a genuine
love for people and the ministry.
Nelson has a Graduate of Theology Degree and a Bachelor of Arts
Degree in Ministry and has served in associate and lead pastor
roles in congregations in Missouri, Florida, and Illinois prior
to coming to Gulfport, Mississippi.
Nelson and his wife Pam have been married forty years. They
have three children and seven grandchildren (six boys and one
girl)
from the ages of one to eighteen years.
When Nelson is not working or studying, he enjoys quality time
with Pam and his family, gardening, and traveling. He also enjoys
fishin' and
kayakin' with his grandchildren while you will often find Pam
behind a camera taking pictures.
Exiting news! Meet Tristan, Pastor and Pam's seventh grandchild
who was born Thursday, August 24, 2006.
His name is Tristan Gabriel Roth and his mom
and dad are Rod (Pastor and Pam's son) and Tina who now have four
children - Chandler, Parker, Chloe, and now Tristan.
Tristan lives in Morton, IL with the rest of his family.
