Volunteer teams continue to call us at Gulfhaven wondering how they can help. We want to tell you about Iglesia Amor Viviente - New Orleans (Living Love Church), a sister church to us at Gulfhaven Mennonite Church and a church affiliated with Gulf States Mennonite Conference, who has a number of rebuild projects.

Relief and rebuilding work at Gulfhaven has concluded after 14 months of hosting volunteer teams who completed over 200 clean up projects and over 80 home rebuilds. Now, we want to help Amor Viviente - New Orleans with their much needed local projects by encouraging teams who have helped us at Gulfhaven to consider assisting Amor Viviente - New Orleans in Metairie, LA.

Amor Viviente - New Orleans has been encouraged to run its own local rebuilding program for members of their congregation. Also, as the Lord opens doors, they have a desire to do outreach projects in their ministry area.
