Homeowners who either had insurance, qualified for an SBA
loan, or received FEMA money do not qualify as an MDS project.
The problem for many homeowners is that these monies received
are not enough to complete their projects.

Local leadership at Inglesia Amor Viviente - New Orleans
has been and continues to do case work for every project.
Volunteer teams and additional money from the church's Donation
Fund will be assigned for each project. Home owners will
be blessed to have their homes completed and their families
back together in their homes.
Here are some typical home projects of members of Amor Viviente
- New Orleans:
House #1 - House #2 and 3 - House
#4 - House #5 - House
#6 - House #7 - House #8
House #9
- House #10 - House #11 - House
#12 - House #13 - House #14
House # 1
Needs installing of sheet-rock on the walls and the ceilings,
finishing walls, moldings, painting, floors, installation
of doors and windows. Owners of this house had very low insurance
coverage, not enough content insurance and their shed and
everything in it was not covered by their insurance. In addition
to the destruction caused by the flood and winds of Katrina,
their house was damaged by a tornado caused by the hurricane.
Presently, the owners are doing the construction work themselves
in order to adjust to their low budget.
House
#2 and 3
Need everything done, houses have been cleaned and guttered.
Owner is a 68 year old widow, used to work taking care of
an elderly man who died before Katrina and she inherited his
house, (he had no relatives) but his house had no insurance,
and now she is facing two problems - her own house and and
the house she inherited.
