Homeowners who either had insurance, qualified for an SBA
loan, or received FEMA money do not qualify as an MDS project.
The problem for many homeowners is that these monies received
are not enough to complete their projects.

Local leadership at Inglesia Amor Viviente - New Orleans
has been and continues to do case work for every project.
Volunteer teams and additional money from the church's Donation
Fund will be assigned for each project. Home owners will
be blessed to have their homes completed and their families
back together in their homes.
Here are some typical home projects of members of Amor Viviente
- New Orleans:
House #1
- House #2 and 3 - House
#4 - House #5 - House
#6 - House #7 - House #8
House #9 - House #10 - House #11 - House
#12 - House #13 - House #14
House # 9
This house needs floor preparation and installation of tile
floors. Owners have done most of their own repairs because
of their low budget.
House
# 10
This house needs new siding. Existing siding was damaged by
the hurricane. This is a divorced woman with her two young
daughters. Some of the repairs done to her house were done
by contractors that did not do a good job, contractors were
not locals and now they are no where to be found to fix the
bad job done. Since then, she had to pay others to fix the
problems, and this has depleted her budget.
House # 11
This house needs siding repairs. This is a single parent household
with a daughter and they live on a very fixed budget. This
woman and her daughter stayed during the storm. Because they
did not evacuate they did not receive as much help as they
would have received.
