The End Times

The study of The End Times includes certain events to take place.
                    1. Physical Death and the Intermediate State
(where the conscious soul awaits reuniting with the
                        body)
                       2. The Second Coming of Christ and the bodily
resurrection of the dead who are saved, the Judgment
                          Seat of Christ,
and the Marriage Supper of the Lamb
                       3. The Return of Christ with believers (Revelation
                          19:11-16)
                       4. The Battle of Armageddon (Revelation 19:19)
                      5. The Millennial Reign (Revelation 20:6)
                       6. The Second Resurrection (souls of the unsaved
reunited with their bodies) and the Great White Throne
                          Judgment
followed by eternal separation from God
                       7. Eternity for the saved in the New Heaven and New
                          Earth
When God created man, He made humans different from the other creatures.
God made us in His own image, with a living soul.
When the body dies and our earthly existence is terminated, the soul lives on forever.
A million years from this day you will be just as alive as you are at this moment.
The Bible teaches that life does not end at the cemetery.
There is a future life either with God or separated from Him for eternity.

The World of Angels, Part 2

The fallen angels and the holy angels are interesting and important subjects of study.
Where did they come from? What are they like? What do they do?
These are questions we want to consider and find answers to for each category.
Since the movie The Exorcist in 1973 there has been a stream of books, movies, and TV programs that have portrayed angels both fallen and holy.
What are the truths we need to know about each?

The World of Angels, Part 1

The world of angels both good and bad, seems to be much more believed in today. Churches of Satan receive publicity from time to time.
Periodicals both secular and religious occasionally report on demonic activities and, consequently people are more aware of the possibility at least of the reality of the world of spirits.
There is the evil realm and there is the good realm of angels. If you have been a believer for awhile you may know firsthand about the holy angels and have experienced an angel watching over you.
One teaching in the church that is often neglected is the study of the devil and the devises of the devil.
That is what this first part of The World of Angels is about. What are the schemes of Satan? What do I need to know?
Would more understanding about this topic be helpful?

The Church

The church, is it really so important? Well, we know that Jesus loved the church enough that He gave His life for it.
That sounds like something of importance. If this is true then what is the church? What is it all about and what is it to do?
If you are ready, let us start digging in.

The New Birth

Adam and Eve were created perfect. So what happened? And, what does that mean for me?
The word salvation suggests that there are those who need to be saved. Who are they? And, how can we be saved if it is necessary?
Specifically in this message we will look at these three things: 1. What is salvation? 2. The Necessity of salvation!
3. What part does God have in salvation and what is our part?

The Holy Spirit

The subject of the Holy Spirit is of utmost importance.
As we learn about His person and work, we also find out that the Holy Spirit is basic to many other doctrines like,
the inspiration of the Bible, several aspects of salvation, and many facets of the Christian life.
So let us discover who He is, what He has already done, and what He does currently in our world.

God Is!

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
In Genesis 1:1 we marvel in the awesomeness of God. In His creative act, the existence of God is revealed.
Paul opens his opportunity to speak in Athens on this subject in the same fashion.
In Acts 17:24, Paul begins by saying, The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth.
These words are response to his discovery of their worship of an idol with the inscription, TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.
Paul sees this as an opportunity to declare to them that God is!
These words of Paul lend themselves to our study of theology proper, the study of God.

The Inspiration and Infallibility of the Bible

Questions are sometimes asked about the authority of the Bible. Maybe you have wondered yourself.
Is the Bible true? How did we get the Bible? Does it give us absolutes that are authoritative for faith and life?
Today we will see the importance of these words, All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful. (II Timothy 3:16)
The Bible is an incredible book of history, science, poetry, human behavior, and spiritual realities.
The Bible is a love story that reveals the heart of God through the person of His Son, Jesus Christ.
The Bible was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. (Romans 15:4)
