Gulfhaven Relief - Pictures, Week 4
September 26-October 2

Week four and there are still a lot of trees to remove! Twenty-seven finished jobs and most of them were big jobs! The week ended with services in the old sanctuary because of demolition on the ceiling in the new worship center.

October 2, the old sanctuary was packed.   New members were added to the church as we met in the old sanctuary because of water restoration work (tearing down the pine and removing wet insulation) in the new Worship Center.

Gene and Bertie lost the roof on their barn; however, all their animals made it through Hurricane Katrina.   More rubble around Gene and Bertie's buildings.

The ladies see the men off on Friday morning.   The last job of the week was removing the fallen porch on Jackson's home.

Careful consideration of what to do.   A plan comes together.

Bill explains the task.   Bill gets up high to take a look.

Dave uses incredible skill to land this one where he intended it to land.   Dave runs out of the way at the last second.

Unloading and ready for the day.   The skid loaders moved a lot of trees.

Twenty-four men went to work early Tuesday morning moving as many as 40 trees per property.   The volunteer work crew from Pennsylvania brought four skid loaders to get the job done.
