Gulfhaven Relief - Pictures, Week 5

Volunteer Work Crews from Florida, Ohio, and Wisconson came to Gulfhaven during the first part of week five. Most of the work for the week was gutting houses that were flooded during Katrina.

During the second half of the week, 16 volunteers came from Tremont, Illinois.

 
Dave and Esther Kniss were special guests at Gulfhaven on Sunday, October 9. Dave is a former pastor of Gulfhaven, from the mid 80s to the mid 90s.   Gene Galat from Tremont, Illinois shared the experiences the group he led had over the past few days they were here.
 
Marie Hibbs joins the church. Marie and her husband, Robert are one of the displaced families at Gulfhaven.   Jerry Klassen and Ted and Elinor Shattuck from MDS shared on Sunday morning.

Trudi was on hand for her house gutting.   Ted and Elinore Shattuck arrived in Gulfport on Friday. They will serve as area MDS Directors.
