Who are the ministers? In Mathew 9, Jesus prayed for
the Lord of the harvest to “send forth laborers
into his harvest.” Who are the laborers? Who is
responsible for bringing in the harvest?
Ephesians 4:1-16 is our primary text and in this passage
we find that there is a “calling.” We also
learn the difference of the “clergy and laity”
and the importance of both. Plus we see the beautiful
analogy of the “body” and the need of organization
and developing systems so that we can function in a coordinated
way. Who are the ministers? As we drill down into this
passage what will it teach us? |
