In the third chapter of Joshua the Israelites are at
the edge of the Jordan River. Their next instruction
is to move out from their positions and to follow the
Ark of the Covenant. Stepping out, leaving their comfort
zone! It was the right thing; however it had to be difficult.
What made it possible? How did they do it? And, what
can we learn from their example? How can we apply it
to our lives today?
Jordan marks the end of the
self life. The Promised Land is equal to victorious Christian
living. Let
us learn
from these passages how to move out and break through
comfort zones.
