God’s calling for Moses was to confront the most
powerful person in the world. He was to command Pharaoh
to release Israel from their slavery role in Egypt. God
promised that He would bring them out, that they would
be delivered from their oppression, and brought into blessing.
For this to happen, belief was required on both the
part of Moses and Israel. The belief that God would do
what He said was challenged! Moses and Israel believed
and then they did not believe. They went back and forth
several times. This is the reason for the title of the
message, the process of belief. What was it that happened
along the way from Midian to the front door of Pharaoh
that brought about strong conviction and belief? What
can we learn from Moses in our own situations that we
need deliverance in?
