In chapter 5, John cried because no one could be found
who was worthy to open the scroll. Evidently it is important
that the scroll and its seven seals are opened!
"Then one of the elders said to me, 'Do not weep!
See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David,
has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven
seals.'" John then turned and he saw a Lamb, looking
as if it had been slain.
John saw Jesus, the One who is worthy to open this scroll.
From it comes the entire wrath on the earth. With its
opening in chapter 6 we see the beginning of the Tribulation
time period.
