The account given in these chapters is somber and actually
quite difficult to preach. It's the account of the end
of the world and it's not a chicken little scare - it's
the real thing!
Babylon falls and the final judgments of God in the form
of bowls are poured out upon the earth. Chapter 16 and
verse 19 says it like this - “And the great city
was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations
fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God,
to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness
of his wrath.”
Even at this time God is giving opportunities for people
to come to Him. He is so merciful and forgiving! Do you
know Christ? Has there been that time for you, when you
came to Him and received His Son Jesus Christ?
