Betty Jane Douple, age 85, of Gulfport, passed away
on May 30, 2009 in Brooksville, MS.
She was an employee of Pete's Electric for many years
where she retired as its bookkeeper. She was an active
member of Cross Roads Mennonite Church and Gulf Haven
Mennonite Church, Gulfport. She was an ardent supporter
of the Pine Lake Fellowship Camp and was a beloved matriarch
of the Gulf States Mennonite Conference.
Memorials may be given to: Pine Lake Fellowship Camp
Capital Project Fund, 10371 Pine Lake Rd., Meridian,
MS, 39307.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June
3, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at the Gulf Haven Mennonite Church,
Gulfport, where friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until
service time. Burial will follow at Gulf Haven Mennonite
Church Cemetery.
