Questions are sometimes asked about the authority of
the Bible. Maybe you have wondered yourself. Is the Bible
true? How did we get the Bible? Does it give us absolutes
that are authoritative for faith and life?
Today we will see the importance of these words, “All
Scripture is God-breathed and is useful.” The Bible
is an incredible book of history, science, poetry, human
behavior, and spiritual realities. The Bible is a love
story that reveals the heart of God through the person
of His Son, Jesus Christ. The Bible was “written
to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement
of the Scriptures we might have hope.” (Romans 15:4)
