During the Spring of 2008, Pastor Nelson preached a series
on major Bible doctrines that was called, “What the
Bible teaches about…” From those messages the
eight statements of "What We
Believe and Teach" immerged from our existing statement of faith
and comprise
our doctrinal
statements at Gulfhaven.
As part of the preparation for each of the messages the
elders met weekly with Pastor Nelson to study the subject
