How to Get to Where
I'm Going
(these sermons are currently not
available) |
|
The name Nehemiah means the Lord’s comfort. God chose
to use the layman, Nehemiah, to do just that for His people
in a time when they needed comfort the most. As a nation,
Israel
had
been
in exile many years. Likewise, Nehemiah himself lived in
a city eight hundred miles from his home land and Jerusalem.
It would be easy to just get detached, desensitized, and
leave well enough alone. However,
the Lord had other plans in mind.
The Old Testament book of Nehemiah
is a great guide for us today on the topic of "how
to get to where I'm going." Together we’ll
learn about gaining vision, solving problems, making plans,
and
going
the distance
for the glory of the Lord.
